Very interesting. Most of the exhibition is audio and it's easy to get lost in the 'story'. Definitely worth a visit.
I enjoyed going to this museum though the ticket prices seem a little bit high to me when taking into account that the museum is quite small. If you buy tickets online in advance you can save a bit of money though. Most of the information at the exhibitions is given through a qr code based audio guide. So remember to bring a smart phone and some headphones. Without the audio guide I would not think it would be worth a visit. The temporary exhibition at the moment about 'vølver' presents some interesting interpretations of the symbols and mythologies of the viking age.
They offer a personal audio guide. The objects in the exposition lacking a numbers, that is a bit confusing. But museum located in the city center, in a very historical building and has a nice gift store.
Website said it was open 29th December 2023. It was not.
A very local museum which is located in a nice building but don't have much else to offer for a high entry price. They DO have one of the most impressive mass graves from Scandinavian stone age, The grave from Strøby Egede, so it might be interesting for a person interested in the mesolithic.
Very few things to see for 90kr, some comics, photoshoot and a couple of small rooms with few old relics. Not worth the price, I've seen much better museums for half the price.
It was good experience to visit this kunst museum.
Pleasant little museum where we spent 1-2 hours. Half of the museum had historical objects from Denmark and the other half told the story of a ship called the Dannebroge. We were given iPads (with English) to explain the artefacts and stories. A good half day trip to Køge from Copenhagen.
